Blog from Paul and Clare Welcome to our new blog where Paul and I will be bringing you regular thoughts on recent developments in printing and our experience on the print shop floor.

We thought we wouls start off by telling you about all the exciting developments in the printing world that means we can provide fantastic environmentally friendly green products.

Recently we were recognised by Merton and featured in the Wimbledon Guardian for adopting environmentally friendly operational procedures  we have introduced at Frank Layton. Firstly, we save water, clean our print screens very carefully and ensure only treated water is drained away, chemical solvents are disposed of separately.  However, for most of our production we are using eco solvent inks for instance for large format print jobs.
We use renewable, bio-degradable products, including inks, high quality recyclable materials, vinyls, fabrics, paper wherever possible and actively source from environmentally friendly print equipment and materials suppliers.  There are more environmentally friendly printing products and processes emerging all the time so do talk to us first about your needs.

We encourage our clients to use and show case environmentally friendly printing solutions and we have provided some extremely imaginative visually impressive print solutions to exhibit this – from printing on cotton bags, on wood veneer, printing on leather bags for a local designer and much more.

We have noticed that our clients are increasingly asked about their supply chain – and so we do our bit to help you demonstrate your corporate responsibility in action.
Finally – of course we recycle all our scrap paper and other materials!
