As a rule:
Artwork
May incur a charge if the artwork is not suitable
- For line work: type, logos etc vector artwork is best ie created using Adobe Illustrator save as .ai or .eps. Alternatively Macromedia Freehand and saved as an .eps file.
- Photos, scanned pictures etc should be 300dpi at the size they are to be printed and saved as .tiff or .psd files
- If not available or you are unsure let us see your artwork and we can advise, as usable artwork is dependant on job specification.
- Retouching,file correction and artwork creation carried out by our Art Department will be charged at a rate of £45.00 per hr.
(photos, paintings etc.) Scanning, separation and printing charges will be supplied on receipt of your artwork.
Screen and Film charges
There is a screen charge of £23.00 per colour and film positives are £10.00 per colour (this does not reflect the true cost of screen preparation, therefore they remain the property of Frank Layton Display)
Dark Shirts...add 30p per position
Colour changes...any change of print colour during the print run = £9.00 per colour
Reflective or other special inks...ask us to quote
